Course-Based Undergraduate Research Experiences (CUREs) have been shown to increase recruitment and retention of students into STEM fields. However, very little data has been collected on the practice with community college students. MCCCD was awarded a 5-year $1,499,985 HSI grant from the National Science Foundation ( HRD-1832543 ) to integrate multi-disciplinary CUREs and measure the outcomes.
